Slow Burn

Sweet or spicy? Cozy or dark? Sporty or supernatural?

However you like your romance, put your creativity to the test with Slow Burn, an original party game for 3 to 8 players that challenges romance fans to mix-and-match setups and story tropes as they compete to create the steamiest, silliest, or most delightful combinations!

• All kinds of romance: Cards feature a huge variety of set-ups (destination wedding, workplace romance), story arcs (enemies-to-lovers, fake dating), character types (the athlete, the cinnamon roll), and plot beats (there was only one bed), offering something for every taste.
• Simple gameplay: No complicated instructions needed—win rounds by throwing down the best combinations of tropes in the style of classic games like Cards Against Humanity or Apples to Apples.
• Specs: The game includes 50 Set-Up cards, 250 Trope cards, and a fold-out instructions sheet, all housed in a sturdy lift-top box.
• Perfect for any occasion: Play at any gathering of romance lovers, from book club meetings to bachelorette parties.
• Multiple ways to play: Flying solo? The cards can also be used as prompts or inspiration for romance writers or as fun suggestions to help you find your next read or watch.
