A richly photographed exploration of Rajasthan’s palaces, forts, and cultural traditions, capturing its vibrant colors, artisanal heritage, and majestic landscapes through Melissa Biggs Bradley’s insightful writing and Guido Taroni’s striking photography

Welcome to Rajasthan, India’s colorful “Land of Kings,” and explore why travelers and design lovers remain bewitched by its unique landscapes, princely palaces, and sublime decorative traditions. Photographer Guido Taroni captures the region’s extraordinary range of visual wonders, from carved temples and lakeside palaces to desert forts and richly embroidered textiles, delicate stonework, and opulent, colorful décor, all enriched by layers of history, mysticism, and myth. Discover the region’s artisanship, which weaves the unique threads of striking beauty, deep spirituality, reverence for nature, and ancient wisdom into material objects, from palaces and jewels to textiles and tassels. Highlighting Rajasthan’s most unforgettable architecture, interiors, textiles, and art while illuminating the rich history and artistic traditions of the region, Rajasthan Style opens the door to an enchanted realm of inspiration and wonder.
