ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Eleanor Heartney is a New York–based art critic and author of numerous books and articles about contemporary art. Her work has appeared in ARTnews, Art in America, the Washington Post and the New York Times. Dale Chihuly’s work has been exhibited in more than 240 museums including the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, the Louvre’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the National Gallery of Australia, and the V&A.
