ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born and raised in Essex, England, Alice is a self-taught baker, inspired by watching her Grandma experiment in the kitchen. She was always creating and crafting as a child, and after she left school she attended art college in New Zealand, before later going on to become a Geography teacher.In 2019, Alice made it to the final of The Great British Bake Off, where she twice won Star Baker, and was known for her inventive bakes and delicious flavour combinations.
Since becoming a full-time baker and illustrator, Alice has had many wonderful opportunities, including working with some amazing brands, presenting a cake to the Prince and Princess of Wales and she is also a judge for the Great Taste awards. Alice also sells her art prints, which she sends all over the world.
