ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kathryn Selbert is an award-winning freelance illustrator and designer currently living in Montclair, New Jersey with her tea-loving husband and grumpy French bulldog, Margot. Kathryn spent her childhood drawing and gardening with her mother in a seaside town in Connecticut. She then attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she learned to love narrative art and graduated with a BFA in Illustration. For the past ten years, Kathryn has worked to create illustrations for children’s books, patterns, greeting cards, and events. She works digitally and focuses on trend-led icons, punchy calligraphy, and fun characters. In her free time, Kathryn is a devoted plant mom and undertaker of overly ambitious baking and cooking projects.
